The Choc Lit Story
Established in 2009, Choc Lit is an independent, award-winning publisher dedicated to creating a delicious selection of quality women’s fiction.

We have won 18 awards, including Publisher of the Year and the Romantic Novel of the Year, and have been shortlisted for countless others.

All our novels are selected by genuine readers. We are proud to publish talented first-time authors, as well as established writers whose books we love introducing to a new generation of readers.

In 2023, we became a Joffe Books company. Best known for publishing a wide range of commercial fiction, Joffe Books has its roots in women’s fiction. Today it is one of the largest independent publishers in the UK.
