Synopsis
You don’t only find stars on top of the Christmas tree …
Student and Zumba instructor Izzy Grant leads a pretty normal life, but in the run-up to Christmas an unusual encounter with a friendly Santa paves the way for the most wonderful and star-studded Christmas she’s ever experienced.
Because at almost exactly the same time, Izzy also meets Seth Roberts – as in the Seth Roberts, bona fide rock star and lead singer of Scarlet Gryphon. As their connection grows, Izzy’s Christmas countdown becomes a glittering whirlwind of after-show parties and classy restaurants – and does she have her mystery Santa to thank?

Berni Stevens lives in a four-hundred-year-old cottage in Hertfordshire, England, with her husband, son and black cat. She trained in graphic design and has worked as a book cover designer for more than twenty years.
Books and art remain her passion, and her love of the paranormal began when she first read Bram Stoker’s Dracula, aged fourteen. She is now on both the committee and the book panel of the Dracula Society, a society for fans of gothic literature and film.

What a perfect story for the season.
I revelled in the curious Santa’s and the utterly delightful Seth Roberts and his understated but present, rock god status. Izzy is understandably considered and careful about what may or may not happen with a man like Seth, but not in a vulnerable sense which makes her both likeable and relatable.
A Christmas story involving the whole cast of family members and a couple of great friends thrown in for good measure. A lovely Christmas read which will leave you with a warm tingle.

I loved this story. Izzy is a down to earth genuine person juggling a degree and part time job as a Zumba teacher . How could she possibly fit in with a rock star’s glamorous lifestyle. But Seth is not your typical rock star. He’s fed up with phonies and being used by wannabe stars. Perhaps a little of Santa’ Christmas magic might help! A perfect Christmas read. I totally recommend it.
This is an easy read book but you really get to know the main characters, Issy, Seth and Santa. The unlikely trio are linked together in the couple of months before Christmas. The development of their romance is truly magical, bringing a mature student, a rock star and a Santa together to make dreams come true. A magical story which leaves you ready for your own Christmas, and who knows who you might be sharing it with, but, whatever is in store for you, believe in the magic.
This is a nice, gentle ‘old style’ romance – by which I mean there is no explicit sexual description – the hero and heroine don’t immediately throw off their clothes and jump into bed, instead taking time to get to know each other, for a very pleasant change. Their relationship is helped along by the assistance of Santa, who appears at opportune moments, and despite the differences in their worlds, Izzi and Seth do manage to get around some obstacles (mainly his ‘ex’) to achieve a satisfactory conclusion to the story.
A good read to get us in the Christmas Spirit.
Aww I loved this festive tale of a mismatched couple, unexpected love, and an over-abundance of Santas. There is more than a hint of magic in the air, although there are impish sprites as well as good fairies at work. A handsome rock god and a beautiful student/Zumba teacher: will their preconceptions keep them apart, or will Santa have the answer? Well, it is Christmas…
I really loved this sweet story of Izzy and Seth who bump in to each other in a coffee shop and although from completely different backgrounds, Izzy, a student and part time Zumba teacher and Seth, a world renowned Rock star (and with the help of a mysterious Santa or two) are attracted to one another. I loved that there was no drama in this stroy, just an unlikely couple who fall for each other at Christmastime. A really sweet story.
Izzy and Seth have just met. She’s a university student earning her living by being a Zumba teacher. He’s a famous rock star and, as rock stars have bad reputations, Izzy doubts that he’ll be looking for a permanent relationship,
The time is just before Christmas when jolly Santas begin to appear around town. One particular Santa keeps offering helpful advice for their relationship, he appears to know more than any stranger can possibly know. Clearly this is the magic of Christmas at work.
A fun Christmas novel.
